Jam for Juvenile Justice Benefit at Treehouse Lounge
Treehouse Lounge (1006 Florida Ave) is the venue for a benefit for Youth Court of DC. The Youth Court is great diversion program for first-time non-violent juvenile offenders. Youth Court gives these kids the opportunity for a second chance by taking them out of the traditional court system and offering them rehabilitative programming instead of just a criminal record.
Youth Court of DC's "Jam for Juvenile Justice" concert will raise money for the organization on Sunday, Dec. 7th from 5-8pm. The event features three local bands and is a great chance to have a lot of fun while supporting a great cause. Tickets ($15) can be purchased (or donations made) online.

That place is still open? Well good for them!
I'd come, but some kids jacked me and took my wallet with my last 15 bucks in it. Maybe I can come to the $30 benefit for their third chance program. Fingers crossed.
So a benefit for the people that will be assaulting and robbing us next year? Great idea.
Maybe a benefit to teach some personal responsibility.
