Long awaited retail/restaurant and cafe space
Maketto (1351 H Street) will
finally officially open its doors to the public Friday April 10th at 7am. Really can't wait that long or just need to be among the first to see Maketto? Well, you could always
buy a ticket to their pre-opening party this Saturday for $25. The event will feature live music and the bar, cafe, food, and retail sections will be fully open.

finally
I'm super glad this is finally opening but I'll just have to wait until the 10th. No way I am paying $25 to go to a business's "housewarming".
^ Agreed...$25.00 for what!? A DJ!!!
What the hell is a Maketto?
i think it's the japanese word for market
its $25 for a whole meal and 1 drink so that is a pretty good deal...if you can get a ticket
how dare they
Anon 238-- where do you see that you get a "whole meal and 1 drink"?
Sounds expensive.
Didn't they just do like a 2 million dollar buildout. I wouldn't expect bargain basement prices
this place is going to be wildly popular
Can.not.wait. See ya Frenchies at 7am on April 10.
I'm confused. Based on their website, they sell lapel pins and staircase frames and steps. That seems like a pretty niche market to me. Best of luck, I guess.

H Street's hottest new club is Maketto. This place has everything. Coffee. Dumplings. Flannels. Human bathmats.
