Want to Learn More About ABRA Licenses?
ABRA once again offers its free two hour information session that will fill you in on the basics of liquor licensing in DC. There's a Powerpoint with different people presenting different sections and a Q&A after each section. I can attest that it is interesting and useful even if you are not an aspiring licenseholder.
The Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) invites licensees and members of the public to attend orientation training from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, March 26 to review:
District ABC laws and regulations (including any recent changes to the law)
Tips for working effectively with the community
Settlement Agreements
Expectations of ABC licensees
Best practices
Noise abatement and sound management
Contact ABRA Community Resource Advisor Sarah Fashbaugh by Friday, March 20 to register:
(202) 397-3971
Email: sarah.fashbaugh@dc.gov
Attendance for this class is strongly recommended for new ABC license holders. Training is free of charge. Requests for interpreters may be made; however, they must be submitted by the registration deadline.
Training Location
2000 14th Street, NW
Suite 400 South, 4th Floor
Washington, DC 20009
