Friday, March 6

Touchstone Gallery – 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Join Touchstone Gallery for the opening of two new exhibitions Sprout by Touchstone member artists and COLOR: Paintings by Mary D. Ott. These two exhibitions explore color and pattern through a variety of media. For details about the openings, click here.

Leica Gallery – 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In Suspect Device, Chris Suspect exhibits 20 black and white prints which, upon first glance, appear to be yet another DC Hardcore retrospective.  However, Suspect has captured scenes from the last four years— 2011-2015. For more information about the exhibition, click here.

ReCreative Spaces – 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
(Re)creation - An Artist’s Exploration is a group show built on the idea of recreation. Artists were invited to interpret the theme in any way they saw fit. Visitors are encouraged to explore this theme as they view the pieces. For details, click here.

Saturday, March 7

CHAL – 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Join CHAL for the opening of Food for Thought juried by Bonny Wolf. Twenty-nine artists contributed work to this group exhibition with subjects ranging from vegetables to the artists’ concepts of the topic of food. For more information, click here.
