Tweets, Info, & Audio From the 5/12 ANC 5D Meeting
I wanted to make sure to get this post out in time for people to review it preparation for tonight's special ANC 5D meeting that takes place at 7pm at 1805 Bladensburg Road. Any day now. They will brew beer, have daily bonfires, breed those inherently dangerous pit bulls, feed stray cats, and sell alleged meat. Also, it will be run by the dude from Jimmy's & that Gottlieb guy.
ANC has always struck me as an awful job (people bothering you for petting things constantly, real work, campaigning, and NO PAY), but can the people in her area REALLY find no one better than Henderson? I mean, at this point, an angry hornet would be more pleasant to be trapped in a room with, and might have more value to add to these meetings
The rest of the ANC should ask her to produce the pro ported email from Mr. Gottlieb to her saying that the guy running against her for ANC chair had not been sworn in. If she cannot produce it, then they should void her election. The rest of the board out numbers her, why didn't they approve the minutes?
It's your own fault for continually voting for her in that *scary* neighborhood.
"*Scary* Neighborhood"? Look, that spectral ooze that hangs around on that unlit street corner after all the streetlights flicker and go out at 11:13 pm exactly every Thursday is actually really nice when you get to know it. It knows all kinds of cool Jell-o salad recipes, and once it even invited me to a Ghoul BBQ. I couldn't make it cause of work, but it was a nice thought. ANYway, just give that spectral ooze on your corner a chance, is all I'm saying. It might surprise you.
