ANC 5D SMDs 06 and 07 are holding a joint Single Member District meeting Friday, June 26th, at 7pm. This meeting was originally scheduled to give residents another chance to weigh in on the Pierce Investments development at 1124 Florida Avenue.

That tweet shows the latest rendering for the 46 unit development. The developers are seeking BZA height relief to go up an extra 3.5 feet (already 50 feet tall), and they also want to push back further into their lot. As part of the agreement they would do a set-back (making it more consistent with the nearby buildings and having it not RIGHT up at the sidewalk). They would also include first floor retail. The proposed increased height and push back would obviously impact the views of neighbors behind the building, so it's a matter of weighing that against first floor retail and the set back in the front.
