We’ve got the hooch, you bring the pooch! One Eight Distilling (1135 Okie Street, in Ivy City) is proud to welcome two-legged guests and their four-legged friends for a casual cocktail party benefiting the Washington Humane Society on Wednesday, June 24th from 7-10pm.
The recently-opened distillery is partnering with Eat & Smile Catering to offer canine-inspired cocktail concoctions, complimented by fantastic food from Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats and Swizzler Gourmet Hotdogs.
Tickets ($15) include your first cocktail and a donation to protect and defend homeless, abused, and abandoned animals in our community. While exploring the distillery, attendees and their pets will also enjoy pup-ular music, free photos from Tickled Photo Booth Company, party favors, and more. A portion of all food, beverage, and merchandise sales this evening will benefit the Washington Humane Society, and volunteers will also be on site with adoptable pets and information on rehoming.
“We’re very excited to join together with our neighbors in Ivy City,” said Scott Giacoppo, Vice President of External Affairs for the Washington Humane Society. “Caring and compassion towards the animals and the humans in our community is our common bond, and we look forward to a long lasting relationship with One Eight Distilling.”
All dogs must remain on-leash and with a responsible human at all times. This event is 21+ only.
