An MPD representative sent out the email that appears below. I'm not sure why hookah is spelled Huka below, but I'm assuming that this is a reference to Nomad (1200 H Street), although you can also order hookah at Da Luft (1242 H Street).
On today’s date a dispute between a customer and employee at the ‘Huka Bar’ in the 1200 block of H Street NE escalated into a physical altercation when the customer threw a drinking glass at the employee, striking him on the chin. The suspect was last seen travelling north on 12th Street. The employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The First District detective’s office is currently investigating the case.

I've always heard Nomad and they are not exactly close to NoMa. MPD released this video of the suspect.
