The Spot Deli's (701 H Street) Facebook Page has a note explaining the reasons behind their recent decision to close:
Hello Loyal Customers,
First of all, we want to thank all of you for the love and support that you have shown us here at "The Spot Deli". It has been our utmost pleasure to serve you over the last year at the H Street location.
We are very sad to announce that due to irreconcilable differences the Deli will be closing effective immediately.
When we get established in another location, you will be the first to know all the details.

i wouldnt be surprised if half of the businesses on H st are in the red. I think people overestimate how good things are on h st. Once &pizza starts charging more than 10 dollars, they'll see sales go down. H st is fools gold
You would think with all the construction workers they would have alot of foot traffic
