Stabbing in the 1500 Block of Maryland Ave

A man was stabbed about 11pm last night in the Starburst Plaza. MPD responded to radio call for a stabbing at the location, but could not initially located a victim. About an hour later they responded to a second call and found the victim (who had returned to the scene) suffering from a stab wound to the left side of his chest. The victim was transported to the hospital, and did not provide the police with any suspect information [per an email sent to a listserv by an MPD representative). Anyone with information pertaining to this case is asked to call MPD at 202-727-9099.


A DC alert issued at 12:48am included a lookout for a black male, with a slim build, about 6'4", and wearing all black clothing. #I20150667792
