A DC Streetcar at rest
There was no major damage (beyond pride) when an X2 bus struck a streetcar on H Street yesterday a little after noon. According to an article in the Washington Post a car driver had stopped suddenly in front of the X2 and the bus driver crossed into the streetcar's path while attempting to avoid the car. No injuries were reported.

This was hardly a scrape, not even a fender bender, and certainly not a collision. If the bus had rear ended the car, I doubt that it would have made the news, but someone would have gotten hurt.
