One Dead, Two Injured, in Triple Stabbing in 700 Block of 24th Street

MPD is investigating a homicide after a man was fatally stabbed Monday night in the 700 block of 24th Street. Police received a call about a stabbing a little before 8:30pm and arrived to find the victim unconscious with stab wounds. Officers located a second male victim not far away in the 2200 block of H Street who was also suffering from stab wounds. Both victims were transported to a local hospital Victim one died of his wounds. A third male victim was later found with stab wounds at a hospital. Victims two and three  were treated for their injuries.

MPD later the deceased as 50 year old Lenard Wills of NW.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
