Capital Area Food Bank to Distribute Free Emergency Food

Ok, Capital Area Food Bank actually started giving out free emergency food yesterday, but I didn't hear about it until later. Today they will be right here in Trinidad at the Trinidad Rec Center. This is first come first served. It's open to all residents of the District of Columbia. You are encouraged to bring your own reusable bag.

All remaining locations:

Friday

• Deanwood Recreation Center, 1350 49th Street NE, Distribution from 2-4pm
• Benning Park Community Center, 5100 Southern Avenue SE, Distribution from 2-4pm
• Trinidad Recreation Center, 1310 Childress Street NE, Distribution 3-5pm

Saturday

• Barry Farm Recreation Center, 1230 Sumner Road SE, 10-12pm
• King Greenleaf Recreation Center, 201 N Street SW, 10-12pm
