And sure enough, they found the taxi...
Earlier on today’s date First District officers responded to the 1300 block of H Street in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival they met with a complainant who stated she had just been robbed and the suspect fled in a taxi. A lookout was broadcasted to neighboring districts and the taxi was located on Florida Avenue; the subsequent investigation identified an occupant in the taxi as the robber and the case was closed without further incident.
