A Bowie Burlesque Tribute Raises Funds for Homeless LGBTQ Youth Tomorrow
Tomorrow the Rock & Roll Hotel (1353 H Street) will host The Life and Times of Major Tom: a Chronological Burlesque Tribute to David Bowie. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Wanda Alston Foundation, an organization that provides shelter and support to LGBTQ youth in the District. Doors open at 8:30pm, and the show starts at 9:30pm. This show is 21+ only, and tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 the day of the show. Performers include Isabelle Epoque and Bella La Blanc, as well as others from D.C.'s burlesque and sideshow scene.
