Maison-Dixon co-founder Adam Cox and Chef Teddy Folkman are bringing Nashville Hot Chicken to H Street with a pop up at Vendetta (1212 H Street) this Thursday. That's not the only thing on the menu. They'll also be serving up chicken and waffles, smoked-fried porkchops, grilled pimento cheese, and a line-up of Southern sides. The fun kicks off at 5pm and goes until they run out of food.

Anyone know when Nando's is opening?
I went to the pop-up yesterday and enjoyed a sample of the hottest chicken. It had a good bite-back. I'd recommend it.
What in the hell is "bite back"? Isn't that chicken dead?
I've heard the spicy option does have quite a kick.
