POW! WOW! is an arts festival that brings local and international artists together to create some amazing murals in NoMa and you can watch the artists in action this weekend. The opening celebration will be held tomorrow from 11am to 6pm at Storey Park (1005 First Street NE). Head down to find a marketplace filled with local retail vendors, as well as food and drink from local restaurants and food trucks. The free all ages event will also include djs and BMX trick riders.
Thursday, May 26th there's a mural tour and happy hour from 6pm to 8pm (tour begins at 6:30pm). Some artists will be on hand to discuss their work. There's a second tour and happy hour (same hours) Thursday, June 2nd. Those interested in either of the tours should meet at 1200 First Street NE.
