Fatal Shooting in the 800 Block of Bladensburg Road

There was homicide just before 10 p.m. last night in the 800 block of Bladensburg Road. The DC Alert that went out was a bit unusual in that it reported a "Shooting or Stabbing." Apparently the call for service was simply for "a man down," which turned out to be a male who had been shot. According to police he "was located unresponsive, not breathing, and in a collapsed position." This post previously stated suspects were in custody, but that is not the case.

    i remember when posts about homicides used to generate discussions and condemnations on this blog. the fact that they don't anymore is very interesting.
