Singer and songwriter Russell Taylor will perform live at Jos. A. Magnus Distillery (2052 West Virginia Avenue) Friday 7 to 11 p.m. as part of the distillery's Speakeasy series. No cover.

According to a post on their Facebook page The Haymaker (1015 H Street), a neighborhood/sports bar serving comfort food will open in the former Atlas Room space late this month. Chef Matt Cordes, who was a part owner of the Atlas Room, shifts gears a bit with this new venture. He told Eater they'll have 8 to 10 tvs and serve  "burgers, sliders, wings, and some charcuterie" in a casual atmosphere.

Pow Pow (1253 H Street) now offers food delivery via bike daily 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. when you call (202) 399-1263.

Boundary Road (414 H Street) is introducing a new changing vegetarian tasting menu on Wednesdays. It'll run you $30 for three courses, with an optional wine pairing for $15 more. Tonight's menu appears below.
