Maketto's kitchen
The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) gave out its coveted RAMMY awards this weekend. This is the 34th year for the RAMMYs. The Association grants awards in twenty categories. We had one winner in the neighborhood. Maketto (1351 H Street) took home the award for Best New Restaurant. Masseria (1340 4th Street) was also nominated in this category. We actually have a number of local places that did not win, but were finalists in various categories. Here's the full final breakdown for local spots.
