The H Street Festival is September 17th & Vendors Can Apply Now
As usual, this year's H Street Festival will be held the third Saturday of September (the 17th). They've got vendor/non-profit (anyone who wants a booth) applications up on their website now. Scroll down to find them.
Pat, It's seemed a lot less congested since they expanded the the number of included blocks and got more strict about vendors being over the line. There was one year in which it was physically difficult to get past certain points due to crowd bottlenecks one year (3 or 4 years ago, I think), but I haven't seen any problems with crowding more recently.

i hope they put the bands on the vertical streets and open either K or G street to allow extra circulation.
It's going to kill people if the crowd density gets worse.
