Local News Brief: Thirsty Thurdays at DDP, FBI Gun Theft, & Reptiles at the Library
Dangerously Delicious Pies (1339 H Street) is launching Thirsty Thursdays, Every Thursday they'll have drink specials from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., and live music starting at 8 p.m. Just as a side note, I'm pretty sure that during a recent visit I spotted a sign indicating they had pina colada ice cream.
Some Twitter users noticed what appeared to be an FBI team doing something near 7th and H Street yesterday, and it appears it may have been related to the theft of two FBI issued guns stolen from a vehicle in the area. The Washington Post reports that someone stole a lock-box containing a handgun and a long gun out of the locked car.
Kids and teens who like reptiles should plan to visit the Rosedale Library (1701 Gales Street) Friday. At 11 a.m. the library will host some live animal visitors, and the audience will have a chance to learn a bit about these amazing creatures.
