Though I wish it were the X2, this toy D8 Metrobus is still pretty damn cool. Snag your own for $25. There's even an accordion version of a Metrobus for $35. Via @TheX2BusDC.

Woofstock is back, and it's taking place at the DC Pavilion (1399 5th Street) this year. On demand dog walking app Barkly teams up with the Big Bad Woof pet good store for the four hour (3 p.m. to 7 p.m., August 6th) outdoor music festival. Head over to find food trucks, craft beer (RavenBeer out of Baltimore), and a pet adoption event, as well as give-aways. Barkly is based right here in the neighborhood, and Big Bad Woof is based in the D.C. area. The free tickets are all claimed, but $5 gets one human into the event. Dogs don't need tickets.

Sci-Fi week is underway at the Angelika Pop Up (550 Penn Street), and they're holding a sci-fi convention on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Fantom Comics, Riverby Books, Intervention 7, and more.
