Man Shot in the Leg in the 1900 Block of M Street

 A man was shot in the leg last night in the Carver-Langston neighborhood. What appears below is from an email sent to a local email list by Fifth District Lieutenant Carlos T. Heraud.

 On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at approximately 9:30pm, Fifth District units responded to several calls for sounds of gunshots in the 1900 block of M Street NE.  Upon arriving on the scene, officers located the victim who was suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg.  The victim was transported to the hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. 

  The only lookout is for a male on the south sidewalk of the 1900 block of M Street NE.
