ANC 5D03 Commissioner Adam Roberts will hold his final Single Member District Meeting of the year at the Flats at Atlas (1600 Maryland Ave.) tomorrow Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. The full agenda is posted online. Representatives from Kettler Development will share their plans for public space improvements to K Street, 17th Street, and Maryland Avenue as part of phase 2 construction of The Flats at Atlas.

All 5D03 residents are encouraged to attend this meeting so that your public space and construction-related questions and concerns may be addressed before permitting and construction begins.

Also happening tomorrow we have Wunder Garten (First Street & L Street NE) launching their Winter Wunterland celebration to mark the opening of their new indoor pavilion. Doors open at 4 p.m., and the first 100 people who show up get a free beer. There will also be food, and music by DJ Lehi.

There's good reason to find yourself back at Wunder Garten this weekend for NoMa's Holiday Make-It (Saturday, Dec. 3 & Sunday, Dec. 3 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.). They'll have several DIY classes to help you create personalized gifts like terrariums, custom notebooks, hand-dyed scarves, plant hangers, and more. Sip a little mulled Gluvine or a cold beer while you pick up some new skills. Black Pearl Tarts will also be selling delicious things to snack on. The event is free (reserve your spot), but workshops require tickets ($35 to $50). Vendors will also sell locally made goods you can take home, maybe along with one of those Christmas trees they'll also have for sale.

Do you have any more information on phase 2 of the Flats at Atlas? I remember reading something about it years ago -- it was going to be condos, if I remember correctly -- but have not heard anything since and had assumed the project was dead.

11:54,

All the info I have on it is several years old. I'll have to dig up something newer.
