Insomnia Cookies is headed our way. The chain will open a location at 1309 H St. (currently unoccupied). This is one of two recently announced openings in the District for them, and they currently have a store in Adams Morgan. Insomnia Cookies is known for serving (and delivering) their fresh baked cookies until 3 a.m. They also offer cookie cakes, cookies with ice cream, and (of course) milk. They anticipate a summer opening.

This will be epic! This is exactly why they built the streetcar. If you build it, they will come! Perhaps, if they extend it all the way to Georgetown they will get nice things there too one day.

I walked by today and the sign is up. I saw someone coming out. So maybe open soon!
