Coming Soon to the Union Market Area: The Bruery Store

BrueryStoreDC_LockupBLK-1-261x300

The Bruery is an Orange County, California based craft brewery that specializes in barrel aged and experimental ales. The Bruery team is constantly trying new approaches to develop interesting and distinctive beers. Nearly half of their brews are aged in oak wine and spirit barrels, and now you'll be able to find many of them right in the neighborhood. The 5,000 sq. foot Bruery Store at Union Market District (513 Morse Street NE) will offer onsite bottle and can sales, gifts, merchandise, and potentially eight rotating taps for growler fills of beers from the Bruery, Bruery Terreux and Offshoot Beer Co.

This is the Bruery's first retail store outside of California. That 5,000 sq. foot space, which the Bruery will share with a not yet named partner, is slated to open this fall (fingers crossed for November). The Bruery's upcoming release Black Tuesday (2017) will be available for purchase online starting October 24th, and you can claim your beer when the store opens soon after.

The Bruery also runs two societies (the Preservation Society and the Reserve Society) that allow members priority access to limited releases. Members of both will be able to pick up online purchases at the new store.
