Judge Sentences Pee Tosser

WTOP reports that Opal Brown, the woman who threw a cup of her own urine onto an X2 bus driver, was sentenced yesterday to 120 days in jail and three years of probation. Brown is barred from riding the X2 line during that period of probation.

Come to the Darkside...Bar
Esquire Magazine has an article about the new Star Wars inspired pop-up The Darkside Bar coming to the 2nd floor of 816 H Street NE (above Mythology). Once it opens on November 15th The Darkside Bar will serve six custom cocktails and host nightly events including games of chance, dj nights, trivia, alien speed dating, and an "Intergalactic Burlesque" show. It will offer a changing menu of small and shared plates. Reservations are $33 a person (that includes two drinks) if you make them online ahead of time. Walk-ins are accepted, but that raises the price to $40 a person. Similar pop-ups will operate in Los Angeles and New York. The pop-up will be open through New Years Eve. It will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

X2.
