Senator, and former Presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders apparently paid a visit to our local outpost of Dangerously Delicious Pies (1339 H Street NE).
The Hill is Home has a write up on Election Cycle, the new spin studio opening Saturday at 1108 H Street NE.
The Bruery Store at Union Market (513 Morse Street NE) will hold its grand opening celebration tomorrow starting at 11am. It pays to stop by early to check it out as they'll have giveaways and special deals for their first 200 or so visitors. You can follow them on Twitter or Facebook to stay up to date on news at the local shop. Normal operating hours are 11am–8pm Tuesday through Saturday.

They should make a Berned Pie. Something sort of crusty and yet delicious, if you elect it for consumption.
Only if the pie is free, because the person behind you had to pay for it. Go away, Bernie.
lol. That last comment is a great example of oversimplification and projection, perpetuated by fear and entitlement. A cute relic. The kind that will likely end up in the bargain bin of the American cultural outlet mall in rural Ohio. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s cool there are still people that think like the last commenter. They are the kinds of folks that keep America weird. Did I say weird? lol. I meant bizarre.
your socialist nonsense is amusing. continue worshipping king bernie.
Wow, I didn't realize we had any Republicans in the neighborhood.
The funny thing is that I’m really not a Bernie supporter. I do respect many of his positions, but it’s interesting how certain people jump to conclusions. I guess one only has a very limited set of perspectives from which to choose, when one exists in a world with limited perspectives. Interesting. Tell us more about yourself! This could be quite an interesting study!
I love that someone asked on Twitter what kind of pie Sanders ordered and DDP responded that he got the SMOG and the Baltimore Bomb.
Ha! That’s awesome. That’s the kind of character you can’t buy or feign.
