Tickets to the J.O. Wilson PTA's Cardinal Auction Night fundraiser (Feb. 23rd) are currently available online for $45 each (includes two drinks), or $50 at the door. The evening features cocktails, food, and a silent auction. They also have an online auction running through Feb. 18th that you can bid on right now. Bidding is open to all, and you don't have to attend the ticketed event to participate in the online auction. They've got gift certificates to local restaurants (a package at Rose's Luxury includes a reservation), and listings for all manner of other fun goods and services.
Last year they raised over $13,000 to buy 20 laptops for classrooms at the school (660 K Street NE), and this year their goal is to raise $20,000 for 30 laptops and a charging cart.
