Man Injured in Shooting Yesterday Evening at the Pentacle Apartments

A man was shot in the parking lot of the Pentacle Apartments (1507 Benning Road NE) yesterday evening about 5:44pm. According to an email later sent to a local listserve by an MPD representative "[t]he victim fled to Starburst Plaza where he flagged down 5th District members who were in the area," and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.     That whole complex needs to be razed. It is a junk yard.
