Turn up for Spring Fling at Rosedale this Friday from 5–8pm at the Rosedale Recreation Center (1701 Gales Street NE). Admission is free, and they'll have a dj, giftcard giveaways, and free food. Enjoy art exhibits and live entertainment including dance troupes, drumline/majorette performers, a fashion show, and some steel drum rhythms to get you in the mood for warmer days. I found out about this event through the Langston Civic Association. Spring Fling at Rosedale is organized by the Wards 5 & 6 Prevention Center, which is part of the District's Drug Free Youth program through the Department of Behavioral Health's Office of Prevention Services.
