Stop by Peregrine Espresso anytime on Wednesday, September 5th and enjoy a free drip or iced coffee. The local coffee spot is celebrating the tenth anniversary of opening their first location Labor Day weekend back in 2008. The drip coffee on September 5th will be "an exclusive Guatemalan coffee from Santa Barbara, Huehuetenango...and the Arboretum blend will be featured as iced coffee. Both coffees are roasted in the District by Peregrine’s sister company, Small Planes Coffee." That same day Peregrine will also offer $2 of all bags of the Santa Barbara and Arboretum, and the first ten customers who make a whole bean purchase at each of Peregrine's locations can snag a complimentary Peregrine tote bag. Peregrine's closest location is inside Union Market (1309 Fifth St. NE). Small Planes Coffee Roastery (2400 T St. NE) is near the Arboretum.
