Atlas Brew Works Turns 5, Celebrate Saturday (9/8) with a Steampunk Carnival & Fundraiser
Atlas Brew Works (2052 West Virginia Ave. NE) will mark its fifth birthday on Saturday (12–5pm) with a party that doubles as a fundraiser for Living Classrooms Foundation.
Tickets to the steampunk themed carnival, dubbed Time Flies, are $15 and include one beer and a donation to Living Classrooms. The event features: face-painting, fortune telling, a dunk tank, an exciting fire performance provided by Pyroxotic, a Big Wheel race in the brewery, and live music from local bands including Night Watch Paradox and Venray. Come hungry and thirsty because there will also be plenty to eat and drink from Atlas, Federal City Bros, Inner Circle Food Co., Rollin Pizza and Jerk Face Jerky. Snag carnival classics such as sausages, funnel cake, corn dogs (vegan version too), pizza, and more. Atlas will serve up Blood Orange Gose Slushies in the beer garden. All brews will be specially priced $5 for the day. You can even skip the line buy purchasing additional beer tickets ahead of time online for $5. Treat yourself to a special parting gift and reserve a bottle of Atlas' small batch anniversary Brettanomyces barrel aged barley wine Batch 500 ($20, one per ticketholder, collect your bottle on the way out).
