MPD Arrests Suspect in Nov. 8 Murder of Jelani Mohammed

On Friday MPD arrested 28 year-old Dale Thomas (of NE) for the fatal stabbing of 38 year-old Jelani Mohammed the day before. The stabbing occurred in the 1500 block of Benning Road NE. Thomas has been charged with First Degree Murder while Armed-Felony Murder.

    That was my brother-in-law i knew since 5 years old. He was nothing but selfless and a selfish person took him away from us.
