Person of interest in a robbery
MPD is asking the public for help to identify a person of interest in a Robbery (Force and Violence) that took place in the 600 block of H Street NE on Tuesday, Dec. 11. At a little after 1:30pm the suspect approached a victim from behind, and assaulted and robbed him before fleeing the scene.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in locating a person of interest in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, in the 600 block of H Street, Northeast.

Vehicle of interest in an October Homicide
In an unrelated matter, MPD has also released video of a vehicle of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of 59-year-old Ezequiel Fernando Jimenez Pinto in the 1300 block of D Street NE on Tuesday, Oct. 16. At about 1:18pm First District officers responded to a report of gunfire and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, but did not survive. Um MPD sat on the video since Oct 16?
I am unlikely to remember the color of my own car after a month away.
Um did the robber take a selfie with the phone he stole and the victim captured it from cloud storage? How did police get this posed picture of the suspect?
