INTERSECTION Festival Kicks Off Feb. 21 at the Atlas

unnamed

The INTERSECTIONS Festival
is back at the Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H St. NE). The INTERSECTIONS organizers seek to "[present] excellent art that inspires a connected community, engaged artists and audiences alike, and creates a vibrant neighborhood, city, and world."  The festival, which begins this Thursday (Feb. 21), will run through March 3. INTERSECTIONS includes a wide variety of performances. You'll find film, musical performance, plays, workshops, dance, and more to enjoy. There are plenty of free events in that mix, and two family fun days (Feb. 23 10am–12pm and March 2 10am–12pm).

Prices for individual performances/screenings/workshops vary, but you can buy a festival pass (non-transferrable) for $75 if you plans to attend multiple events. There's a free INTERSECTIONS launch party sponsored by the Washington Post on Thursday (6:30–8pm), and you can RSVP online.
