We had two stabbings yesterday. The first was in the 1800 block of West Virginia Ave NE (the northern tip of the Trinidad neighborhood where it meets Ivy City). It happened a little after midnight (very early Tuesday morning). In that case police found a man with with a cut to his arm incurred during a physical altercation with the suspect (per an email from MPD Lieutenant Patrick Brescia). Brescia said there was "no usable lookout for the suspect" at the time. If you have information about the incident you can call MPD at 202-727-9099 or text the anonymous tip line at 50411.
I don't have any additional information on the second stabbing that happened a little before 8:30pm last night in the 1500 block of Levis Street NE (also in Trinidad). The full text of both alerts appears below.
