DDOT will hold a meeting tonight (Tuesday, May 21) from 6:30-8:30pm at the National Arboretum (3501 New York Ave. NE) to present design concepts and gather comments from the community. If you can't make tonight's meeting, they are holding another meeting tomorrow (6:30-8:30pm) at the Department of Employment Services (4058 Minnesota Ave. NE).
You can read more about what the project involves on the Anacostia Watershed Society's website, but this project is part of the Anacostia River Trail network ("ART"). Upon completion the 28 mile long network will connect the Arboretum with the Anacostia Waterfront and improve access to nearby neighborhoods.
