Man Stabbed in Both Legs During Robbery Wednesday Night

MPD officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1600 block of Rosedale Street NE late Wednesday (11:25pm) and found a man suffering from stab wounds to both legs. According to an email from Fifth District Lt. Jeffrey Kopp, the victim told police that two men had approached him while he was walking. The two men had proceeded to attack him and take his wallet before leaving the scene on foot. The victim's injuries were not life threatening, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He provided the following description of his assailants:

  • Suspect 1 - Black male, 28-29 years of age, 6'1", 185 lbs., full beard, wearing a gray jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
  • Suspect 2 - Black male, adult, wearing a multi color hat and blue jeans.
