A man was wounded in a shooting in the 1100 block of 21st Street NE about 9:30pm last night. According to an email from Fifth District Lt. Jeffery Kopp the victim reported that he was walking when three male suspects in a small black sedan approached him. One suspect then opened fire, striking the victim several times before the car drove off in an unknown direction. A good samaritan drove the victim to a local hospital. The victim was in stable condition as of 2:30am this morning. The assault took place in the Carver-Langston area.
