Capital Fringe Opens Today

It's opening day for the Capital Fringe Festival. Capital Fringe (1358 Florida Avenue) is headquartered in Trinidad, but the Festival shows are spread around the District (LOOK a free shuttle to help you get around). They have a range of shows, and I highly recommend seeing at least a few. DCist has a put together a handy guide, and you will also want to take a gander at Washington City Paper's Fringe Worthy blog. Seriously, the Festival includes a ton of shows!

Pretty excited for this! Are there any special discounts for people in the neighborhood?

I'm not aware of any locals discounts, but they do have some free events. There is no cover for tonight's opening party that I believe starts at 8:30pm.
