Video stills of a suspect in the murder of Marquiawn Williams
MPD has identified the victim in a homicide in the 1800 block of Benning Road on Monday night. 25-year-old Marquiawn Williams was shot multiple times, and though he was transported to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. MPD has some very good footage of a suspect in the murder of Mr. Williams.
If you can identify this man, or otherwise have information about the shooting, you can contact MPD at 202-727-9099. You can also anonymously text information to the police at 50411. MPD currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
Anthony Farmer is wanted in connection with Friday's shooting that left four wounded
During a press conference yesterday Mayor Bowser announced that police have also arrested a suspect in Friday's shooting in the 1800 block of Benning Road NE that left four people injured. 26 year-old Michael Ross, of Southeast, DC, has been charged with Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun). They also are seeking to locate an additional suspect identified as 27-year-old Anthony Farmer. Farmer "is described as a black male, with a medium complexion. He is 6”0’ in height and weighs approximately 175 pounds. He has tattoos on both of his arms, chest, stomach, and back. He is wanted on a DC Superior Court arrest warrant for Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun)." If you know Mr. Farmer's location, or have information about this shooting you can contact police at the numbers above. As with homicides, MPD offers a reward to "anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a shooting in the District of Columbia." The reward can be up to $10,000.
