Truxton Circle Website

I found this website mentioned on another blog and was really impressed. This is what I wish the H Street Main Street website could look like. Truxtoncircle.org is attractive, easy to navigate, and functional (tons of great info). For reference, Truxton Circle is the neighborhood just on the other side of North Capitol Street. Maybe one day we will get our act together and create a site this good.

Hi there.
TruxtonCircle.Org is the idea of Matt and Scott and he was able to get some other neighbors together from the Bates Street Area (aka Truxton Circle) meetings to add stuff. I think it began with an e-mail listserve and just grew. It is still new but provided there are several of us pitching in it will gain a new life of it's own.

Well, like I said, the site looks very good to me. I think it's important to have a single location where people can go to get neighborhood information. Active yahooo groups are great, but they fall short when it comes to finding information quickly and efficiently. A well put together website has a professional look to it, and can provide a way to make past discussions/articles more easily accessible.
