The Argonaut
The future home of the first in a series of restaurants & taverns that Joe Englert plans to open on H Street. The Argonaut should open in the next 4-5 weeks.
Yeah, that green's a bit much to take. I'll have to check it out in person. Maybe they'll also replace the tree w/ a live one...or is that just a trick of the camera and it is alive?
Yeah, there is a little distortion. I use Flickr (automatically resizes photos) & I just tweak that a bit. For some photos seem to develop a different kind of distortion if I use the "correct settings." Maybe it's just me. So sometimes I just let the photos look a little squeezed.

the pukey green is an improvement?
The settings on my camera were a little off when I took this photo. I think it might look a little less institutional in real life.
Also, I saw some guys pulling up all the overgrown weeds around the building, that is definitely an improvement.

The tree was dead, but it has been chopped down since the photo was taken.
There are suppose to be a bunch of Plane trees planted as a part of the H Plan. Anyone know what is happening with that?
Your camera seems to have strangely squeezed the car parked in front. Are you sure you didn't resize this incorrectly?
