City Paper on Joe Englert on H Street
This week's City Paper features an article on Joe Englert and his H Street movements. No real new info, basically just rehashing posts from the ANC6A listserv & quoting from the applications. Patrick Stewart (from the Atlas) is quoted as is a local resident named Jackie.

Didn't realize the Martini Bar is opening so soon. Interesting article. Seems we live in the place to be all the sudden.
Seems odd that he is planning to open the Argonaut at 8pm on a Sunday. Probably wont get much of a crowd
Assuming that that the announcement is legit (and I think it is since I've been hearing either Sunday, or Monday for the past week), I would think that the point of opening on a Sunday night would be to make sure everything is running smoothly and get the word out that the place is open.
The Argonaut was open Sunday night, but it was having a private party. I was told at the door that it will be open to the public on Tuesday (today).
I went today (Tueday) and the handwritten sign said it would open Thursday.
