A look at what's going on in Trinidad, on H Street, and in the larger area north of Capitol Hill.

Work @ the Former Cooley's Site
I don't know it they are just doing a little facade clean-up to rent the place, or what, but I noticed a couple of guys doing a little exterior fix-up work the other day (can't be a bad thing). This is in the 1300 block across from R&B Coffee.
I haven't see it, but I did hear about it. On Saturday some of the buildings belonging to Richard Cohen were demolished in preparation for his planned building project.
Yes. It's finally happening. I saw it from the train headed to NYC. Guess all the permits were approved. I just hope they begin to build it after it's all ripped down. And that the scattering rats don't move to my house.

I heard that it's just a little facade clean-up. I don't believe there is a tenant lined up at the moment.
Facade clean-up? Go look at it. They have ripped almost the entire block down to the dirt. It's definitly gone.
The facade clean-up comment refers to the Cooley's site in the 130 block of H Street, not the Cohen site off K Street.
