Post: Home Again in Ivy City
Take a look at this Post article on the Home Again program in Ivy City. The meeting among Home Again reps, residents, and developers concerns the properties that went up (as a bundle) for bid this spring (March?). I remember there being 37, so I'm not sure why it says 16-37 properties. Home Again is a program under the Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) that is intented to return vacant properties to use as housing & to make available more affordable housing (a minimum of 30% of the properties are required to be affordable housing). Developers must first be qualified to bid by the DC government.
