Red & the Black Open/Opening?
A article from the DC mag On Tap went out on a neighborhood listserv this morning & according to the article, the Red & the Black is open for business (and apperently opened in late May). If this is the case, it's the first I've heard of it. I suspect that it may be opening this weekend along with the Palace of Wonders. Anyone want to correct me? The Red & the Black is located at 1212 H Street & bills itself as a bar & bistro serving New Orleans style cuisine.

There is an ad for the Red and the Black in this week's City Paper. Evidently it will have live music. The ad announces "pre-opening shows" starting June 12.

Anybody know why their home page and blog entries are written in Latin? Four years of Latin in high school, and I can't decipher it!
These are just placeholder entries (the same as saying "a paragraph of text could go here"). I'm sure that the latin will disappear soon.
