This is off-topic, but does anyone know anything about a report of six gunshots fired at around 3am July 30th in the vicinity of G & 12th St. NE? I live in the area and was awake at the time, and heard the noise, although I wasn't sure if it was shots or firecrackers. Within about five minutes there were six or seven squad cars and a police van in the area. I don't know if they found anything, but I was impressed at both the size and speed of the response.
I heard that as well, and was also wondering if they were gunshots or firecrackers. Judging by the police response, they were likey the former. Anyone have any more information on this?
